You can't trade players (Anton Forsberg and Justin Danforth) when they are on the IR. You can only trade players who are injured if they are on the LTIR.

Says the commissioner. Players on the IR can't be moved without permission from the commissioner.

The Meier deal had this same issue. There was a player in the AHL who was injured that was involved in the trade, that's why the deal took so long to be announced after it was first reported.

Unless you can think of an example/time when a player on the IR was traded, I'm 90% sure this is an ineligible trade.
