I dont think Benson, Bear, or Jones are NHL ready yet, and sign JJ Khaira instead of Samuelsson. Also, wheres Griffin?

I like the idea of getting Reider back but Minny doesn't have a 1st round pick.
Galchenyuk comes with too many questions. No more Russians.

Galchenyuk has a very good upside. I think it is bold but it could work and minny draft pick is sent from Arizona minny traded it to them for hanzal last deadline but I believe this team would go deep especially when sekera returns

Plus we don't really have many Russians and I'm pretty sure galchenyuk is actually born in America haha

I know Edmonton is trying to save as much money as possible for McDavid's next contract and I agree Vegas would look for two second to take Pouliots contract off their hands. Would Edmonton not look to buyout Pouliot instead? His buyout would be 1,333,333 over four years. I feel like two second round picks are more valuable to keep or trade in the future than to have Pouliot's contract completely off the books. I know Edmonton might be pushed up right against the cap.. however less than 1.5 million doesn't seem like a ridiculous amount of money against the cap in order to save those picks. Curious to your thoughts?

I think poliout still holds value but not value to this team I believe the guy really wants a shot and to Vegas he can eve maybe be a 2nd line left wing or third instead of diminishing his talents in the fourth line on this team he's still very fast with a good shot and a great penalty killer but I'd rather get rid of his cap hit right away then to just buy it out. He deserves a second chance on another team. That's just my take! Overall how do you like my team?

Galchenyuk is an American. He was born and raised in the states. His dad is Russian but for all intensive purposes, Galchenyuk is a American Born player as he has represented the stats on multiple occasions.

That's what I thought too! He's been snubbed a couples times off the roster where he deserves to be over a couple people haha... How's the trade?

As a Habs fan who lives in Edmonton, I have watched the nuge for the last 7ish seasons. I like him, but not his offensive game at 6million as it has progressively decline. I also understand that some of that decreased production is probably more based on less prime PP time with Drai and McD. If he was a 5m player then I'm all over that.
As a MTL fan, I know the need for a good Center so i would probably do it, knowing the Habs could potentially lose the trade as I think Galchenyuk is sublimely skilled. But knowing the Habs would have a young 2 way Center that can play in any situation would make me happy.

Doh! Sleepy response from me after a night shift.

A change of scenery would do Galey some good but he's struggled as a C
