      Avs won't take Price ... Replace Price with Sergachev + Hudon and take out Varlamov and we might have a deal !

      because they want to rebuild and Price only have 1 year remaining to his contract. It would be my guess ...

      The same reason nobody else is trying to get Price. He isn't as valuable as you think and nobody needs goalies... Plus MacKinnon is worth more than Price easily. If anything it should be Price, Sergachev, 2017 1st, GAlchenyuk for MacKinnon

      So if this is true -- and I think you might be right -- what should the Habs offer Price on a long-term deal? Ben Bishop got 6 years at $4,916,667. So how much is Price really worth? $7M/year? $8M/year? Lundqvist makes $8.5M/year. Would someone pay that much again? It's a tough guess what the number will have to be to keep him from testing the UFA market next summer. At the same time, having been hurt twice in the last three years, maybe he doesn't want to take that risk either.
