Ok, so? The Canes don’t have anyone to replace him right now, and he is a cornerstone piece on the Canes blue line. You don’t get cornerstone RD for a weak 1st and PP specialist winger. You are basically asking the Canes to cut their cup window short. Do you really expect any team to give up a cornerstone piece and cut their window short for a weak package like that? What you are asking the Canes to do in this proposal would be like asking the Sabres to trade Dahlin right now, for that package. Would you trade Dahlin for the Canes 2025 first and Teravainen?
