!!! yes I know the deadline isn’t over yet but most of the “big names” have been moved and teams are only adding depth guys or cap dumps, so here are my playoff predictions for the eastern conference after the deadline !!!

Quarter-Finals
(A1) Bruins over (WC2) Sabres in 5
(A2) Leafs over (A3) Lightning in 7
(C1) Hurricanes over (WC1) Penguins in 5
(C3) Rangers over (C2) Devils in 7
* Bruins win Presidents Trophy, beat the second Wild Card team in the Sabres in 5, Buffalo too good to be swept. I know it’s a cardinal sin to pick the Leafs, but I’m doing it. (Not a Leafs fan) Hurricanes beat Pittsburgh in 5 for same reason Bruins beats the Sabres in 5. And finally the Rangers “upset” the Devils in 7. I will be cheering for the Devils but they don’t have the best playoff experience… yet.

Semi-Finals
(A1) Bruins over (A2) Leafs in 6
(C1) Hurricanes over (C3) Rangers in 6
* Bruins and Leafs are too good of a rival for it to be 4 or 5 games although it wouldn’t surprise me. And I think the “super team” Rangers get to banged up playing the Devils that the Hurricanes exact some revenge.

Conference Final
(C1) Hurricanes over (A1) Bruins in 7
* Thats right, another Eastern Conference Final between the Bruins and Canes. I think the “Presidents Trophy curse” catches up with Boston here. Also the Canes remind me a lot of Washington from (15-18) every year they’re super good and everyone picks them to win the cup, then the one year nobody talk about them, they do it lol.
