This doesn't really make Ottawa a better team and I doubt Boston does that.

Not sure both teams would be that interested in that trade

Depending on how much money Debrincat wants I could see Ottawa not having choices trading (him or another big contract).
Trading him for a cheaper immediate top 6 replacement, a solid young goalie and a 1st is good value.
