That MTL pick better be 1st OVR. Only way to make it close, but still not enough unless FLAs 1st is also top 3

In this scenario, 5, 12, and 39

MTL wouldn’t trade the 1st OA tho
They are rebuilding and I rather have 7+ years of Bedard than 3 years of McDavid

Just my opinion: If Edmonton still wants to be a contender, any return for McDavid needs to consist of an immediate impact player. This trade doesn't really improve the team immediately. If you trade McDavid to improve the future, you might as well also sell off Draisaitl (Why keep Draisailt over McDavid?). Most of the improvements to the forward group are through UFA. You can still achieve most of it. If cap is the issue, I'd probably move others before McDavid.

I like Parayko for the Oilers. The offer seems fair, or close to.

Value wise it's ok, certainly would be a loss for the Blues.

Need wise it's a catastrophe for the Blues. For it to make any sense i'd imagine either Broberg or Bouchard would have to be in there. Our d pool of prospects is terrible, while our forward group of prospects is actually pretty strong.
