Bottom 6 isn’t looking the best. Do you think they move Girard to use the 5M to upgrade the offence?

Underpaying most of these guys, and this probably doesn't happen. Probably better to explore other options too

Thinkin the same about the bottom 6. I'd rather Ellers over Helm and Galy, look for Kovalenko to come over and Meyers should do fine as a 4c.

They won't move Girard until both Toews and Byram are locked up or in Byrams case, still rfa. If they do they risk losing both G and Toews. I think Manson will be moved more willingly than Girard.

I've been impressed with AG's effort in the last few games, coming off a long AHL stint. If he keeps it up, I can see the Avs giving him a starting role.

Thanks for telling me! Yah Eller would be good as the 3c. He would create more depth. Way better than Galchenyuk that’s for sure. I can see why they wouldn’t move Girard. He is a good defence man. If they extend Toews in the off-season, then maybe they can get rid of a defender and upgrade that offence. Besides that, this team is very solid!

This answer will come in the post season. Sakic committed to him for eight years, which is huge. You don't just throw a guy like that in the garbage. G is looking at a Kadri type chance at redemption. He's played well in big minutes so far; now he needs to be even better this playoffs.
