Interesting that you think Barbashev signs for 4m X 5 as UFA, but you expect Pens to tale on all of Garland's 4.9m cap and they give up picks too. Seems like Barbashev and Pens would a lot better if Pens signed to a hm a 4.25m contract.

I'm not a fan of us signing Gavrikov. It clogs our left side. With both his and OEL's contract on the books, it'll be so much harder to resign Petey. Contract is just too long and a bit too much for my liking.

Usually, I'm pretty quick to dislike any trade between VAN and PIT, but I'd consider this one. I've heard people say Garland never really fit in VAN, so maybe in a different system he has more to give. He's a better defensive forward than Barbashev anyway, and I always value that versatility. The price isn't high for essentially a reclamation project, just depends on how the Pens make the cap situation work.
At the very least, I'm a lot more interested in Garland than I am in Miller and Boeser.

I am a lot more interested in trading Garland than I am in Miller and Boeser as well.
