You know, just 1.25 for Bunting, 3 years for Cogliano, 1M for the highest scoring D UFA (Gustafsson), and a weird Florida trade...why is Colorado doing this because Bennett only has 8 more points than Girard, who is younger and a defenseman (I assume Bennett is mainly wanted for scoring?)

He's better than no goalie.

Also, ur probably right about Bunting, but I'm fairly certain he wants out of Toronto.

Yeah. The Avs have found success turning occasional scoring player into scoring machines (with the right people), and Bennet probably works with that. But your points are taken. I'll probably do a 4th edition of this

i saw it on youtube. that happens all the time with players. just a quick exchange. he hasn't come out and said he wants out. it was just one of a million conversations a player has with his coach.

Idk though. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time this has happened with Bunting. Besides, the Leafs have only lowered his role on the team as the season has gone on. He started on the 1st line, and made his way down to the 4th. I don’t think he likes that. And even tho I only have him lined up on the 3rd line, at least I'm not pushing him down the totem pole.
