Lol in a sea of "good idea" and "I think this is a good offer" and "that's fair" you're constantly the only negative person. It's sad.

Respectfully. I do not think he's a captain...at this stage in his career. You can't strip him of the C. Either keep going like you are or trade him. I think you get a PILE for him if he's moved. It would suck to say goodbye...but this is a nice-looking team.

If we all want to live in hypothetical la la land, a Guhle McGroarty swap would be eerily similar to the Drysdale Gauthier trade earlier this year. So it wouldn't be unrealistic that MTL would need to add (just a little) to snag McGroarty simply due to supply and demand. A prospect like McGroarty is harder to find than a LD like Guhle.</div></div>
Disagree. Big, mobile, young, top 4 defenceman are harder to find than wingers who have never played in the NHL before

Pitt deal is interchangeable. I just think Chabot is very moveable with Chych/Sandy now.

Unrealistic wheel and deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>With respect, you're wrong, because you don't understand how our team stands right now.
You guys need Korchinksi, and you need him to pan out. Therefore, he has greater perceived value to you. To us, he's the equivalent of Mintyukov and might not turn out to be better than LaCombe or Zellweger.
You have to consider the OTHER team's needs when analyzing a trade offer from their point of view, not merely from the perspective of how good you think Korchinski is going to be in isolation.
We wouldn't make that trade if you exchanged the Tampa Bay first for the bottom-quarter second. That's because Zegras isn't on the market because he fills the need for which you want him.</div></div>
It's crazy to think Zegras is worth more than Korchinski man. I know you're a ducks fan but come on. Zegras is being outscored by Ryan McLeod, jake Evans, and Nick Paul. He's a middle 6 winger whether you like it or not. Korchinski is not. He's better than any defenceman on the ducks not named Fowler and he would project has the top dman in their pool

Highly doubt Kaliyev comes back next season (moved at draft). If Roy comes back next season then Arvidsson won't be back and if Roy is too expensive then Arvidsson could be back on a cheap 1 year 2m or less deal. The Kings won't move Spence until they know what is happening with Roy and they don't have a need for Drury that they can't fill from within the organization.
There is plenty of money to give to Byfield. While he is breaking out this year, he really hasn't done enough to get more than the Kempe range 5.5-6m a year.
Also your lines are horrible.

Kings Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>They have plenty of space. You make it look like they don't by going after guys the Kings aren't likely to pursue at full cap hit and by signing guys to cap hits they won't get. For example:
1) Ullmark isn't going to be an LA King. Even if the rumors weren't true and he would allow a trade, LA isn't going to spend full price on a goalie when they have Portillo ready for NHL games and have shown going cheap on goaltending works in their system.
2) Arvidsson is making 4mil now and has missed nearly a full season and a half. He' s not going to get the same cost in his mid-30s, and if that's what he's demanding the Kings will let him walk. So there's 9mil in savings there already.
4) LA won't spend 3mil on two fourth line players when they have guys like Turcotte, Akil Thomas, ****emo, Laferierre, etc all making league minimum and pushing for NHL roster spots. So that's another mil saved.
Byfield is priority #1. The Kings will sign him to whatever is necessary and let the rest of the pieces fall where they may. Even if that unfortunately means losing guys like Arvidsson and/or Roy.</div></div>
Having cheap goalies work within their system? they're barely clinging to the 3rd spot in the Pacific and have been bounced in back to back years in the first round with mid goalies. they've won two cups and both were on the back of an incredible goaltender
