Would Carolina actually be interested in Kuznetsov and why?

I think they would because they can't rely on Kotkaniemi to be a true 2C yet. He has good shutdown abilities but the offense isn't quite there yet. Kuznetsov would fill that hole for them.

That's valid. Do you think he'd fit alright with Brind'Amour's style? That's where my hesitancy comes from, because you're right that he'd provide some offense as 2C but Brind'Amour is about hard forechecking, effort, speed and details which Kuzy can admittedly lack at times (not necessarily speed cause he's a really smooth skater)

That part could be true, and i wouldn't actually put money on Canes acquiring him, but I think it's an option. They might just go for like ROR or something.
