Penguins - what if what could have been

Description
what could have been. i know ice time for some of these players would have been different from what they may have been getting on new teams but this would have at least been a dominant lineup to put out there.

Dumo has been the 4th guy behind the big 3 but his time was up - should have let him go to Seattle
Desmith should have been moved... gies you 1 or 2 good games out of 10
Poehling I know was acquired with Matheson trade but if Pens found a away to get him still as a 13th forward, his speed and talent perfect fill in on the 4th line.

Ceci was a stud for us. Sure he was in a sheltered role but damn he was really good. He probably would’ve been much better in Pittsburgh than Edmonton.

Sure but a sheltered 6th D man at 3.3MM is really bad.

Trading McCann was always a mistake to my eyes. Not protecting Tanev was also mistake. There was far too many mistakes made in the 2021 off season that should’ve been seen a mile away. I didn’t think we’d regress so much though.

Olli Maatta is paid $3. Also keep the cap accurate. You can round it up all you want but everything really counts with the cap

I don't disagree that Ceci was a great 6th D for the Penguins. My point is that he would be very overpaid at 3.3MM for that role. Instead put in Ruwedel or someone cheaper and have cap room in case someone gets hurt. This team above is in cap hell.
