      Sure dude? You think you can afford to give Shattenkirk $6.5 million and then Trouba $7 million down the road because that's what it's going to take to be able to resign him in 3 years or so.

      With Nash's 7.8 falling off at the end of this season and a potential salary cap increase, YES!

      Trouba also won't be getting $7 million. He'll be in the 5-5.5 range for sure but not $7 million. Plus Thornton comes off then books and Girardi's buyout hit decreases
