Sens don't have any cap room but this is intriguing.

Flames aren't retaining on Markstrom to run a rookie goalie and a guy who's not ready for a full time starting job. Plus no chance he waives

Dustin Wolf has won 75 AHL games in the last two years with a .928 save percentage. Plus don't you think Vladar could pick up some of the load with a 1A 1B situation. I wouldnt be surprised if Markstrom wanted a fresh start.

Markstrom is a fantastic goaltender who had a down year because he became a father. If I didn't know better I'd say you're an Ottawa fan who wants to scam the Flames out of a Vezina-ability goaltender. Even if you would trade Markstrom, he'd be worth at least a 1st. At LEAST. Plus, who's your backup? Vladar isn't good enough to play in the league right now and needs further development in the minors.

He has. I have no doubt that he may be able to become a full time starter (and a good one) in a few years but he should absolutely be mentored by Markstrom in the meantime
