I can't see the Jackets trading that pick. Their biggest need is a top line center, and they can draft that with the 3rd pick (at least a player that projects to be a 1C). They have a pretty solid prospect pool already full of complimentary players and top 6 prospects but they really lack that 1C.

When was the last time a top 5 team even traded out of their spot? We have these discussions every year about a top 5 team moving down. never happens.
