High aspiration leads to mediocre summer

Description
This will be patty's defining season, its rather he hits or he misses, I am starting to loose faith in him, he seems calm with the cap so he might have something set up but he might just be saving face, here on CF ACGM Myers can be moves super easily, but this isnt the real world, we might not be able to move myers, we might not be able to move garland or boeser, I think we are going to run it back and dont think we have a choice.

This is what I think is going to happen: we dont really do anything

As much as I don't want Beauvillier, you cannot complain with a (basically) free 30-point scorer for the 4th line...

Canes are bargain bin hunters so I thought that they would be interested in this deal

Canes take a good deal when its there. This is certainly the kind of deal they'd do if there was nothing else available to help the top-end production. Especially because it's only one year and if he craps the bed, you can just let him walk away

and I think that is why he would be the one to be traded, as teams might be scared away from term on garland and boeser

This would be so lame man, i hope they can atleast trade Myers after his bonus is paid, since he will only be getting paid 1 miilion.

But will it happen? what if Patty thinks that he could get a haul for a bunch of guys at the TDL and moves them then?

I definitely see your point lol, but i think or hope lol that management understands we aren't going anywhere with this d-core; case in point Myers has to go. Moving Myers really seems like a summer move, yet again it does feel like they keep saying "we didn't didn't get the deals done in the trade deadline, and we feel like their will be more deals available in the offseason." and then in the summer "We didn't get the deals we wanted, we feel like we can get these deals done in the trade deadline." Though it was reported they are in serious talks about moving garland, even if they have to pay. They also make alot of trades just cant seem to clear cap, besides Dickinson and Stillman ig. Hopefully though with all teams looking to start competing that didn't make the playoffs in the offeason: Blue Jackets, Sens, Habs maybe, Pens, Sabres, RedWings, Caps. There should be alot of buyers, plus this years free agency is weak.

well yes but also no, his cap hit is a burden and he may only be owed 1m in salary, but this is a cap league, I really hope that he could get moved, but I am not in the front office seeing what deals are available

I mean yh his cap hit is a burden but, its a perfect contract for **** teams looking to hit the cap floor. (after the bonus is paid)

I agree, but what other GM's would agree, it isnt their money, it would have to be the owner to be the one to make that decision, because TM57 isnt worth his contract, but if an owner specificially asks for him (ANA) then that would be something to look at

The season after next season is when it's really going to define whether or not PA is better than Benning
