I traded away Krug to Philly. I'm not 100% on their cap situation and I'm aware he would probably not waive his NTC but we need to find a spot for him to create room for Perunovich to get actual minutes.
I sent in Leddy to Florida. Again, I'm not 100% on their cap situation but a 4th round pick in return seems reasonable.
Next I sent Robertson and a fourth to San Jose for Ferraro. Ferraro is the perfect defensive partner to play on our bottom pair. We already have plenty of wingers in our prospect pool, so losing Robertson shouldn't be too big of a deal.
Next I acquired Ross Colton from Tampa. Tampa is in a cap crunch so they will need to shed salary. Colton is perfect for 3rd line he can kill penalties and also be on the second power play unit, I'm not 100% on his value when it comes to his next contract, but that was my guess.
Lastly, I sent Scandella to Arizona attached a third this is a cap dump obviously, he needs to go. We need to let young players play.
Also, I signed Ryan Graves to play with Parayko, I feel like two big D men on a second pair could end up as a good shut down pair. I'd much rather have oak tree like defenseman in my bottom 4 than a bunch of puck moving D that can't defend in front of the net.
