Description

A somewhat realistic look at what the 2023-2024 roster could look like without any major shake ups. I anticipate Tatar walking in Free Agency, and I think you could plug Bunting into his spot with very few issues. Cap is flexible for Bunting, so +- 500k isn't out of the question. If Bratt demands more than $7.25m, I'd look to trade his rights for a similar style player. I believe he significantly hurt his value in the playoffs. Re-Signing Graves to a shorter deal at arguably a higher AAV than he's worth will allow Nemec to continue developing in the AHL, but won't block his path to the NHL in 2 years. He could feasibly be called up as early as 2024/25 once the Smith deal expires.

I think Meier gets between $8.25m and $8.75m, I just rounded to the low end. I don't see him getting $9m a year.

I think Graves will be odd man out.
They have already talked about Bahl as his in-house replacement.
Severson, I think we try to sign (just have to figure out RD logjam later)

Yegor should get his qualifying offer, at least ($2.05m)
McLeod is definitely coming back too.
Walsh probably too (definitely if Severson is out)
