Ok I miscounted but we have so many chances to get a higher end one and we have to take advantage of it

As a reminder: the Blackhawks took a defenseman 7th overall last year. And another one with their third pick in the first round in 2022. And they took a defenseman with their first-round pick in 2021 as well. They have another defenseman who was an assistant captain for Canada at the World Juniors. And another who was an asst captain at Boston University 14 months ago. I'm not sure which team you've been paying attention to, but the Blackhawks have the following defensemen in the system coming to the NHL in the next couple years (some of whom have already tasted the league):
