Winnipeg would require more quality, less cap dumps.

There's the equivalent of 3 1sts (one of them being a 8th overall pick), a 2nd, and a decent prospect in there. Demelo and Helle are both on the last years of their contract, while Ehlers has 2 more remaining.

That bottom pair is 2 guys who should be in the ECHL. vinny is awful. this team would lose alot because of that pairing. kulak is great guy to hold onto

With how good the first 2 pairings are, the 3rd pairing shouldn't get much ice time (14 minutes of time?). Dineen has been quite solid in the AHL though.

I would love to hold onto Kulak but $2.75M for a 3rd pairing guy seems to be a luxury we can't afford.

cam Dineen is not NHL Ready. neither is Vinny. those 14 minutes would be the worst hockey we have ever seen. this team lost because they cant keep the puck out of their net. kulak isnt a luxury, he is a necessary piece, he is likely worth 4.5mill, he might be the best contract on the team at 2.75

There's also two uncompensated cap dumps, one of them massive and two other LHD pieces such have no value to Winnipeg. So, as I said, more quality and less cap dumps are required
