My humble two cents:

You overpaid Zucker, but you also underpaid Barbashev so that balances out. I would love to have Barbashev on the roster, as I’m sure Geno would, but I don’t see Vegas letting him walk. They’ll almost certainly keep him. They’ll have the cap space, especially if Lehner stays on LTIR.

That 3rd line is soft as powered. I like ERod, but the center that will be between two smaller and skilled guys like Zucker and Nylander should be a physical or defensive presence. Hopefully both. Especially come playoff time. ERod is better suited as a wing in the NHL if you ask me. I worry that he’ll be overpaid this year too.

Also, I’m sure Sullivan wouldn’t want the LHD Smith playing the right side. The man HATES playing players on their offside, especially defensemen lol. So we’d probably need a right handed d-man instead of Smith or Jospeh if we sign Graves. That’s a damn soft bottom pair.

If Ullmark is available for less than a 1st then that’d certainly be an interesting road to explore.

Do with these opinions and information what you will, lol.

I am not not even a huge fan of bringing Zucker back at all
