if not why bother Det system is graduating their best and its not good enough

Edvisson Raymond and Berggren are best prospects for being top tier players and not locks

blowing 2 more years hoping is not an option

give the STL trio ROR/Perron and tarasenko + Jarry/Husso a shot at the playoffs together and mixed with some decent depth and young guys I think they do it

2 of Yzerman's picks are full time Wings. One is arguably our best player. Soderblom, Edvinsson, and Kasper all looked good in their short stints.

My point is that almost none of the farm has graduated yet, so the "not good enough" you saw last year was still mostly placeholders outside of like 5 guys
