If Reimer disappoints then Lyon steps in. The window for the Wings to get Vladar closed on July first

Jets sell for the rebuild
I would be beyond shocked if ASP is available from Detroit rn. Literally just drafted, first round prospect, and the only RHD of value they have other than Seider.

Hey NHLLGRW can you just stop man. It's either a troll or you're actually incapable of evaluating players. The fact that this is one of your less absurd ones is telling

If I were signing him today I'd try to do a 3x5.56.5 bridge.
I also think if he isn't signed by Christmas bis actual contract will end up much higher than that. I feel a 3rd year breakout coming (as so often happens for young players

That flyers trade is insulting to the Wings and anyone with any ability to evaluate talent knows that. Stop trading Raymond in literally all your posts, you're making it too obvious you're the same guy with the massive hate boner

Love his mix of skill and compete. Yzerman has signed a lot of vets the past 2 summer's. Kasper will have to earn a spot in training camp. Playing a season in Grand Rapids isn't a bad thing.
Perron a scratch? Uh no.</div></div>
Yeah Perron at worst slides in where Sprong is, moves him down one line. Fischer is who I'd expect gets scratched

Depends, are we getting the Mangia from 2 years ago or the one from last year?
Because if it's the one from last year I'd rather just keep Berggren
I suspect if we're sending him away it would be as part of a package for someone of Lindholm's caliber

Good Bye John
Neither team wants this deal with where they're at right now. Tavares is obviously the much better player (and more than likely will continue to be so unless Soda pops off). But he's also a decade older and at a debilitating cap hit for what he provides.
JT isn't waiving to be sent away from Toronto, Detroit doesn't want to take his cap hit, and the Leafs should be all in. Doesn't make sense for anyone

The Wings wouldn't trade Kasper for anything less than getting Hughes or Petey. Obviously they'd add more, but if it's not an elite player coming back they don't consider it

Bring it Home
Wings aren't sending their top goalie prospect, a young Calder level forward, and a first for a 27 year old who is about to get 10 mil per. It's not a value problem, it's a fit problem. Wings aren't in a position to send that kind of value and team control for a guy who is gonna take a ton of cap

Seider what would it take
There is functionally no price that will move Seider. He is near untouchable. Think about what it would have taken to pry Matthews from the Leafs when he was on his ELC. Seider is near that level for Detroit.
Kid is the cornerstone of the rebuild. If he gets traded, it's back to square 1 on the rebuild

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheDuminator</b></div><div>Don't take me wrong... I wouldn't trade Raymond but I was trying to understand why many Detroit fans trade him out?</div></div>
It's essentially this one guy named NHLLGRW who absolutely despises the kid for being soft, you'll notice he's always traded for someone like Jeannot, Trenin, or if he's feeling any modicum of reasonable it'll be Konecny.
The vast majority of us like Raymond and know it would be moronic to trade him. He's not going anywhere

Something about being "too small and easy to push around"
He's basically the Wings fan equivalent of the people who keep suggesting the Leafs trade Marner to get tougher.
Also if Raymond reaches his potential it's definitely higher than just top 6. He's arguably there now.
