there isnt a scenario were neither of those three are available at the 5th spot in the draft. And regardless could make a solid off for Hart without moving the 5th overall pick.

If Carlsson, Michkov, and Smith aren’t available, that means you get Fantilli or Bedard. In other words, you’re getting Carlsson, Michkov, or Smith.

Why not keep your Florida pick and take the top goalie in the draft, take best player available at 5 and see both in year 2 or 3 from now.

Hart is worth way more than everyone thinks but as a diehard Flyer and Hart fan, he is NOT worth the 5th overall pick lol. I would do the 2024 1st round pick and the 2023 or 2024 2nd pick for Hart and think that is much more fair but he is never going to be traded for the 5th overall pick lol that would be a dream scenario for the Flyers that is totally unrealistic.

I agree but I think a 1st, 2nd, and a good prospect will probably be the most that you get. Definitely not getting a top 5 pick for Hart lol I wish but it isn’t reality.
