  1. Johansen, Ryan
  2. 2025 3rd round pick (COL)
COL
I did try a Granlund (50% retained) and Johansen swap for a 2024 first so that Colorado would both gain cap space & get their #2 center, but avs fans here thought that was too steep.

With no players being sent back a third seems fair to dump him straight up
    2.
    SJS
    1. 2024 3rd round pick (DET)
    DET
    1. Duclair, Anthony ($1,500,000 retained)
    Additional Details:
More speed, more depth. Duclair cant drive a line but he can be a secondary scorer. I think he would be a pretty good fit.
    3.
    SJS
    1. Campbell, Jack
    2. Petrov, Matvei
    3. 2025 1st round pick (EDM)
    4. 2025 3rd round pick (EDM)
    Additional Details:
    Top 10 protected.

Oilers get rid of Campbell and gets a top-9 player back. I know Oilers don't want to trade their 2024 first so I figured a 2025 first would have to do. I feel like a 1st, a third and a meh prospect is a pretty light cost to get rid of an AHL player making 5mil for three more years and get a serviceable bottom-6 player.

I think MG will want a 2nd to take on RJ, or at least add a 4/5 to the 3rd.
Duke is kind of the same scenario above in terms of value, especially with retention.
I think that's a decent enough Campbell trade. Petrov doesn't add much so if it's a 1st + 3rd to dump I think MG would want XB or Broberg back as well. Also, would EDM be more interested in AB than LK? If they split up Drai and McD I would love to see AB playmaking Drai.
Overall I'd probably take these as they generally help the future.

I don't think Colorado will want to dump Ryjo for a 2nd if they're not getting anything in return. It's not like he's a bum, he's just not worth 4 million.

I could see Duclair going for a second as well if there's a bidding war for him come to deadline. But in a vacuum I don't see a team paying more than a third. I also wanted to keep it as grounded and "pessimistic" as possible.

I wouldn't mind Duke on the Wings. Seems like the kind of medium cost asset Yzerman would pick up at the deadline
