Just a gut feeling that is derived from a combination of a new GM, same core of players simply unable to get over the hurdle year after year, I’d also expect money/salaries to be taken into consideration a little more (spread out) to form a deeper roster and dishing out a 5th contract of $9-$10m+ just doesn’t seem like the sensible route to go.

IF they do keep Nylander, someone else significant (Marner or Reilly) will probably be traded.
