If they want to keep being competitive if Bergeron retires, they may have to sell low in some assets. Of course this deal can be better but when teams don’t have a choice but to compete now they don’t get favorable returns.

As much as the value is appealing for the bruins, Carlo is to much of a locker room presence to give him up for a worse defenceman and an unlikely second line guy

I think Bean can be better than what you’re expecting and with the likely departure of Bergeron and Krejci, Roslovic would be a welcome presence for Boston.

I definitely think I could be wrong about bean but there's also not much saying I am

As for roslovic I think I would rather just wait for some of our younger guys to come up beecher, lauko, and Harrison well in the mean time zacha can play the 1c with Coyle pushing the 2c
