It’s not like I did Mantha for DeBrincat straight up trade lol, Ottawa gets a ton of good draft picks, Mantha is still a decent player who they could either resign or trade at the deadline for more

Did u notice ottawa traded pick 7 last year and pick 12 this year? They clearly don’t want picks as the main pieces for Cat

I did notice that, but since DeBrincat is not going to resign don’t you think they might like to recoup some picks? Mantha’s value has never been lower but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still have potential…. What do you think it would take to aquire DeBrincat?

eh, as much as I’d love that as a Sens fan, I think there’s a world where the caps can get it done without the 8th. but if the Sens move DeBrincat for picks, even just this year’s 2nd rounds instead of a 2024 one would make a difference imo. gotta make some sort of picks before the 4th round for the Sens lmao
