EDM
BUF gets some help at RHD, even if not the ideal choice. They take on Campbell's contract, but they get a 1st and a 2nd to keep building their pipeline to keep them a dynasty for years to come.

Campbell could rebound, or he could be sent to the AHL.

Quebec left because they couldn't fund the team anymore amid an increasingly weak canadian dollar and no arena coming at the time. Neither of which were happening Buffalo.

Umm, the NHL owned BUF for a time...aka couldn't fund the team.

yeah and it was us based team generating revenue in us dollars. Thats why they kept it afloat instead of relocating them.

All I'm asking in this post is to have an open mind, but it seems you are incapable of that- which is fine.

I really don't care. Your mind is set.

But I think this could be a smart move. Ceci could be Power's partner and Campbell could be that vet goalie BUF seemingly wants.

And on top of it, we get paid to take that risk.

Don't forget, GMKA was willing to take that risk with Murray last year. I'm glad that did not happen, but proof is in the pudding. KA would make a move like this.

Have fun in conspiracy land....the truth is the Peguals saved the Sabres. And you, me, them and all of Sabre fandom has not liked how it has unfolded. But, they have learned their lesson, I think.

There was no reason to keep spending to the cap. It's very clear that KA's plan of draft and develop is the way to go. I really don't understand how people still think overpaying for FAs and overpaying in trades is the way to go. We did that. Over and Over and Over and Over.

Draft and develop. This is the way.

    Keep grasping for straws.

I'm sure if you offer enough money the Pegulas will sell the Sabres to you...

    Or are you cheap?
