Lots of homers on this site. Few understand what Nylander evolved into last year. 27, 40 goals, 87 points, played hard on the puck and was the Leafs best player many nights. Also, played very well in the playoffs.

Yeah but that’s not what Toronto wants at all back for Nylander so it doesn’t really matter.

They want good players right now not picks and young players.

They should get young and picks tho, it will help the cap also and helps building for the future, while having enough cap space to go big shopping in the market

It’s clear you just don’t understand what the Leafs are trying to do and what they need in a trade involving Nylander. We don’t care about a pick that’s not gonna be on the team when we are competitive. Unless we can get younger and better you’re just not assessing Toronto correctly.

We had to spend the money no matter what so that point doesn’t work all to well
