Minimal Tinkering. Bring up the kids and play them. Laffy and Kappo have to show more, the sooner the better. Jones is bust in my view, but for his ardent fan base, play him at LD3. I've seen commentary about what Laffy and K'Andre want. I've been generous here, leaving approx. $1M CAP space. K'Andre get the bucks in three years, and he will deserve them. Laffy needs to break out, and soon. He is no McDavid or Eichel to be sure. This is what happens when the front office exhibits no fiscal discipline. A buyout of Trouba would free some cash, I can hear the howls already. The defense can handle it. We we all miss the big hits. But with Jacob out of the picture, you could bring Mikkola back at 3rd LD, move Schneider to 2nd RD with K'Andre, OR keep Schneider at RD3 and sign UFA Justin Holl for RD2. Holl has far better D stats than Jacob, he has good size, and averages about 2 hits per game. In my view, we are stuck with Artemi. His regular season stats speak for themselves, no dispute. But if you are being honest, his lack of size and grit are easily negated during CUP time. His defense is passable at best. Thoughtful comments are welcome, "drive bys" are not
