Main point is - while not ideal - we can fit Murray’s buyout year after next. I guess you have access to information none of the rest of us do. Show me by a creditable report that the leafs made an offer to Domi > $3M last year. Find it hard to believe because they didn’t have a lot of cap space 🤨

Just following up; to clarify leafs did pursue Domi in ‘22 off season but their offer was quite a bit lower than Hawks; opposite of what you said? Pretty obvious I think, why would anyone sign as a FA for Hawks (no offense) unless they were offered more money.
This year, Leafs have more cap space so 🤷🏻, not even sure Tre has interest but I am sure Domi would be excited to play for his “Dad’s team”, and in the centre of the hockey universe, if they can work out a deal.
