No interest in that. Boeser isn’t a match for us

Carolina needs a Top-6 winger no? Who would be of interest then?

I think Garland would be more of a fit to CAR then Boeser, however I feel like Carolina would need more.

Fair. I would think so too. Just wish VAN had a 2nd rounder before the year 2070 to offer in the deal

I think they’d be potentially interested in both of them but value is off on the deal. Boeser and Garland don’t have much trade value. Retention helps that but still think it’s one of them retained plus a first to make canes think about it.

Yea totally fair! What about Garland ($950,000 retained), 2025 2nd Rd pick + Rathbone (or Woo or Dermott or someone in that ballpark of value)?

We need guys who will use their bodies to score in dirty areas for playoff success. Boeser has been a perimeter floater from what I’ve seen.

I think it’s gotta be the first. A second two years away doesn’t have a ton of value. You can keep those prospects and young guys though in that scenario. I get it if it’s too much but think that’s the ask from teams looking for pesce. I’m also assuming a pesce extension as part of this deal.

He is that, almost exactly. Of the plethora of wingers on VAN, Beauvillier is the most similar to what you're describing.

The VAN 1st rounder would be available (as dumb as that is for VAN) but there would have to be draft capital coming back (I would hope).

I think there would be openness to a deal like that as long as the core elements are in there. I’m still of the belief that Pesce gets an extension (4x6.5 range) and we ultimately move Skjei instead but we’ll see.
