I think if the Canucks were taking Granlund they'd want more (maybe swap the second and smith for Pickering) but if that's off the table I'd do this

Miller's contract is primed to become a complete albatross. I can see Dubas gambling on that happening a few years from now where PIT will be rebuilding and it not mattering. I don't hate the deal. But VAN is the ultimately the long term winner getting out of that contract.

With the 1st comments I got to little to much seems about right. So it must be good trade. Now what about the rest of the signings. And is it cup team right now? My worries is the d and goal. Can the goalies play like they did last year.

Seems like I’m in the minority, but I don’t think JTs contract is a problem. The guy drives play, runs our PP, and is a plus skater.. he’s also not afraid to shed the mitts.
VAN has so few difference makers, JT is the least of our problems.
