I think you're being a little rough on the guy. Hanifin is a quality player. Buffalo is going to have to move guys eventually. Do I think this would happen? No. But be a little kinder to the guy.

I just don't want people to instantly see his name and be like yep not looking at that meme proposal. I mean hell I was the same when I started this site during the giant miller trade rumors. Miller for 1st, kakko, Lundqvist, and more picks. Or Horvat for Dobson + 1st round pick.

Just some of these trades were so lopsided to Calgary it got like kinda funny.

I don't think he's that valuable, compared to this trade rumor. I'm more on the train he's worth barely a late first, or say like a second and Olo

People are just excited is all. Maybe anxious? There is a lot of change coming. I think us Flames fans just hope we get a decent return to stay competitive while also building for the future. All of the trades on here are just people having fun. Let them my man. Don't get angry at them.
