    " and now seems like the best time" ... yes! not when he had 78p in 79gp but when Backstrom might not be able to play again and we need a guy to stop gap till Lap is NHL ready. Kuzy mihgt get a solid return but who is going to play in his absence

    If the Caps are trading for a winger in that tier/cap range, I want Iafallo or Arvidsson from the Kings. I think you could get either of them for not a whole lot more than you're giving up here for Garland.

    Very similar players and Sheary is half the price.

    Also very similar in points and garland plays top 6 with pp time, sheary gets bounced around and still does decently well offensively.

    Sheary also plays better defense.

    Garland has **** attitude.
