Winnipeg should of buyout Wheeler or at least trade him to a different team other than Detroit.

I would find this illogical for Detroit. Wheeler should probably best go to a contender that can send bad contracts back to Winnipeg. Also Wheeler effectively has a full NMC so he can easily setup the five teams on his list to be teams that would never trade for him. Meaning he might not even accept this trade if Detroit were willing.

Wings pass easily. Two 24 year Olds have more value to a team trying to move on from rebuilding than a 30+ year old long term.

Also don't want Wheeler specifically anyway
