More likely than the latest trash offer for Colton from N.J. fans on here lol.

A 2nd round pick for a 26 year old dude with a career high 39 points is not a trash offer.

Except, that's right, Tampa doesn't have to move Colton; when you and other N.J. fans understand that, maybe there will be something to discuss.

And I’m sure you have trade comps to show how wrong we are?

Except TBL has made 11 trades around draft picks being received over the last 4 years

Other than Miller under JBB show me one time they traded a bonafide NHLer and just got picks back ? Wow you're counting crap like 2 Chicago 4'scomung back so those 4's were really important not Brandon Hagel 🙄✅ try contextually relevant trades.

Okay, so when you consider the reports that Tampa is trying to extend Killorn and Colton has “priced himself out (3.5+), how does Tampa not need to dump him?

Colton has not "priced himself" out, all that's been said is he is looking for a significant raise, which Tampa can give him. A bunch of reporters looking for clicks and attention than decided to run with this false narrative that Colton has priced himself out of Tampa.

Like with Palat last year, Tampa may have(not confirmed) offered Killorn a very low aav, long term deal, but all indicators are that, like with Palat, Killorn will be looking for a higher aav deal and test FA. Tampa is a well run organization, and the moves they made to get Jeannot and Eyssimont, plus the planned promotion of at least one Syracuse F, will fill in the middle and bottom 6 vacancies, while Colton is finally unblocked from having a top 6 role. Colton is 7 years younger and the far more valuable asset long term vs Killorn. It's a pretty easy decision who they should be keeping.

If Colton is traded, it will be before Killorn re-signs, and Tampa will get what they are interested in, not accepting scraps from another team. Plenty of teams will be interested, and unlike with N.J. agms and the majority of their fans on here, teams such as Pittsburgh, S.J., Edmonton, Vancouver etc have posted reasonable deals for Colton that Tampa would seriously consider based on their needs.

It is if the acquiring team actually considered Tampa's position and what they would be looking for if Colton was on the table. No one in Tampa cares what one reporter said, Tampa never accepts that offer. There have been at least 4 or 5 offers from other teams on here that beat that easily. More than a couple of teams would be interested, and a 2nd round pick is quickly rejected.

Alas, if only fans on ACGMs predict what their teams can/will offer lol

What does Julien Brisebois have to do to prove to people he doesn't value picks? ?

Could care less tbh. If all N.J. wants to offer is a lousy 2nd, Tampa will gladly take the offer proposed on here by both Tampa and Pittsbutgh fans, POJ+one of O'Connor/Nylander/Puustinen/Poehling(secondary piece up for discussion in many threads) for Colton+Fleury+possible mid round pick. There are other offers on here that have been comparable as well and meet what Tampa will be looking for. Additionally, Colton at 3.5 is not a problem for Tampa, so that is definitely not pricing him out of Tampa. Again, if N.J is interested, Bahl+likely Boqvist or McLeod for Colton+Fleury+3rd/4th/B prospect is something Tampa would do. Picks aren't highly valued with their current win now position, and they do nothing to help the team this year. Tampa declines a 2nd for him.

So you have absolutely no way to justify what you’re saying Colton’s value would be

And your justification is one reporter's opinion, thereby leading you to post the latest subpar offer for Colton on here.

You’re valuing the trade again. How are you doing that without having comps to prove it is subpar per the market?

Tampa can run with 21 if need be, and I'm not linking one of many rosters on here that has Tampa keeping Colton anywhere from 3-3.75. Tampa won't be losing Colton over a few hundred K, nor a having to roll with 21 instead. 95% Colton isn't even available, so it really doesn't matter anyway most likely.

You understand, of course, that reports from reputable insiders like LeBrun and Russo are different than fake trade proposals on a silly forum, right?

Thank you very much! I saw these two when I was looking around as well.

On a scale on 0-100, how likely is it that Tampa rolls into opening night with 4 forwards, 3 defensemen, and a goalie all making under 1M?

65-75
Raddysh figured it out late or more correctly learned to skate late. TB coaching staff had to like what they saw 25+ mpg I. Playoffs only Sergachev had more . Backup goalie is almost a guarantee.eissymont is a steal I think they like Balcers.

It is subpar because it is not what Tampa needs.i'm not sure how many times this can.be said on here by ppl who know Tampa's situation well. Tampa could care less about a later 2nd round pick. If they are going to move a player that is slotted to be a top 6 winger for many years to come, they will need to get back players of value that help them now. A cost controlled 3LD and bottom 6 F is what they would value.

Since they have no need to move him, the acquiring team can meet their price or the trade just doesn't happen. Brisebois should care less what some algorithm says, as he is not in a position to.toss Colton for what another team thinks.is fair,.but what Tampa actually wants(or close to it).

There's really nothing else left to discuss, as I and many Tampa fans.have already made this same position clear on literally dozens of Colton to.N.J threads where N.J..fans make a great offer for them, while not taking into account what Tampa would want and thinking Tampa has little recourse, until once again corrected by Tampa fans.

Especially interesting that there are some wild underpays, when checking against Evolving Hockey’s projections
