ROUND 1TEAMORIGINALPLAYERDETAILS
Logo of the Chicago Blackhawks-Nothing is 100% guaranteed in life except Bedard going 1st overall
Logo of the Anaheim Ducks-Despite rumours, I don't think they can pass on Fantilli
Logo of the Columbus Blue Jackets-Elite future 1C. Should be a no brainer
Logo of the San Jose Sharks-
Logo of the Montreal Canadiens-A strong future top line power forward to play with Zuke and Cauliflower
Logo of the Arizona Coyotes-Apparently they really like him and he fits their team. Center core looking good in the future
Logo of the Philadelphia Flyers-Don't think they can pass on Michkov here. They got years to kill anyway
Logo of the Washington Capitals-Upset they don't get Michkov but strengthen their defense with Reinbacher as Carlson ages out
Logo of the Detroit Red Wings-Dylan Larkin Lite. Need I say Moore?
Logo of the St. Louis Blues-We see our first big reach here. Strengthen defense after all centers and Reinbacher are off the board. Simashev can go anywhere from top 10 to mid 20s
Logo of the Vancouver Canucks-Small winger seems like the opposite of what the Canucks need, but with a talent like Benson at 11, you simply can't pass it up. Plays bigger than he is and has a two way game. Canucks have reportedly been interested in him
Logo of the Arizona CoyotesLogo of the Ottawa SenatorsProtypical power forward to add to their collection of prospects.
Logo of the Buffalo Sabres-Defense seems to be needed more than another winger given how stacked Buffalo's young forward group is
Logo of the Pittsburgh Penguins-Big boy. Compared to Tage Thompson without the skating. If he improves his speed, he Wood be a force in the league
Logo of the Nashville Predators-Trotz talked about going big or going home. Could be a reach, or it could look like a genius move like Seider at 6 by Stevie Y
Logo of the Calgary Flames-Could probably use a bit of everything if everybody actually gets traded
Logo of the Detroit Red WingsLogo of the New York IslandersAnother sort of reach. Some rankings have him very high, top 10 high, some have him late 1st to 2nd round pick. Mostly just wingers are available around this pick position. Gets some size and skill
Logo of the Winnipeg Jets-Probably the most well rounded player in the draft. Good center prospect with Dubois heading out the door
Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the Tampa Bay LightningHawks also need a bit of everything. Maybe a winger to play with Bedard one day? Sale definitely has the skills
Logo of the Seattle Kraken-Remember when he was ranked top 10? Still a great pick and a nice addition at C
Logo of the Minnesota Wild-Minnesota seems to have been looking for a center for a while. Yager has the skills to be a sick goal scorer.Another guy who was ranked a lot higher at the beginning of the season
Logo of the Philadelphia FlyersLogo of the Los Angeles KingsOffensive minded RHD prospect. Flyers could use some defense prospects
Logo of the New York Rangers-Versatile little forward. Could be a good middle 6 guy
Logo of the Nashville PredatorsLogo of the Edmonton OilersHigh upside player Trotz would be interested in if he fell this far. He has the skill and the production. Only question is if he translates this to the NHL. Boom or bust prospect
Logo of the St. Louis BluesLogo of the Toronto Maple LeafsBlues at another defense prospect and a great name
Logo of the San Jose SharksLogo of the New Jersey DevilsDefense prospect wouldn't hurt. Small, but great skating and offensive instinct
Logo of the Colorado Avalanche-Potential middle 6 C for the Avs.
Logo of the Toronto Maple LeafsLogo of the Boston BruinsCould see Honzek going a lot higher. Great size and tools. Only time will tell if they translate to the NHL.
Logo of the St. Louis BluesLogo of the Dallas StarsGood winger who had very good production. Wing may not be a priority, however he is arguably BPA, and the Blues have already drafted 2 d men. Of course, this pick may not even belong to the Blues come draft day
Logo of the Carolina Hurricanes-Great winger prospect to join a strong Canes squad
Logo of the Montreal CanadiensLogo of the Florida PanthersSlovakian RHD. Speaks for itself
Logo of the Vegas Golden Knights-He is small, but he is skilled. Marchessault is small, but he is skilled. Perron = Conny Smythe winner?
ROUND 2TEAMORIGINALPLAYERDETAILS
Logo of the Anaheim Ducks-Could very well see him go in the first round. This draft is stacked. Solid winger prospect to add to their stacked core.
Logo of the Columbus Blue Jackets-Versatile winger with good size and skill
Logo of the Chicago Blackhawks-Solid defense prospect after 2 good forwards earlier
Logo of the San Jose Sharks-First goalie off the board. San Jose can use one
Logo of the Montreal Canadiens-Big body LHD. Further beefs up their defense prospect pool
Logo of the Arizona Coyotes-Adds an RHD with upside. I remember when he was the top ranked defenseman in this draft near the beginning of the season. Had a rough draft year, but his a prime bounce back candidate and potential steal
Logo of the Buffalo SabresLogo of the Philadelphia FlyersAnother forward who could very well go in the first round
Logo of the Washington Capitals-Small sure, very skilled. Seems to be a lot of these guys in this draft
Logo of the Detroit Red Wings-Swedish LHD with decent floor. 3 straight picks gives them some options
Logo of the Detroit Red WingsLogo of the St. Louis BluesRankings are kind of everywhere with him. Could be a very good winger
Logo of the Detroit Red WingsLogo of the Vancouver CanucksRHD seems to be a need, and Beau Akey fits it. Solid name
Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the Ottawa SenatorsCopy paste small skilled forward
Logo of the Buffalo Sabres-Defenseman over forward + fun name to say
Logo of the Nashville PredatorsLogo of the Pittsburgh PenguinsHigh upside player for Trotz
Logo of the Nashville Predators-Why does Capfriendly have him ranked #557?
Logo of the Calgary Flames-
Logo of the New York Islanders-
Logo of the Seattle KrakenLogo of the Winnipeg Jets
Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the Tampa Bay Lightning
Logo of the Seattle Kraken-
Logo of the Minnesota Wild-
Logo of the Los Angeles Kings-
Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the New York Rangers
Logo of the Edmonton Oilers-
Logo of the Seattle KrakenLogo of the Toronto Maple Leafs
Logo of the New Jersey Devils-
Logo of the Anaheim DucksLogo of the Colorado Avalanche
Logo of the Anaheim DucksLogo of the Boston Bruins
Logo of the Dallas Stars-
Logo of the Carolina Hurricanes-
Logo of the Florida Panthers-
Logo of the Minnesota WildLogo of the Vegas Golden Knights

Re the Blues picks:

#10 - Don't count Danielson out from the group of Cs they surely like. Also think they might have Willander slightly above Simashev. Hard to say on that one.

#25 - Reasonable pick, but I think Lindstein is a better one. But you could be right.

#29 - If the Blues were actually going to burn a 1st in this draft on a winger, there are a handful of ones who seem much more suited to Blues tastes. Halttunen, Ziemmer, even Perron. But I doubt there's any chance they leave this 1st round without a C. If they have already picked two Ds, then this pick has to be Edstrom or Stramel. If they actually did grab Danielson at #10, then probably another D, like Molendyk, Price, Brzustewicz, Morin, Akey, etc.
