I hear ya but unless something changes - maybe a team he would waive for strikes out in free agency and a 3rd team retains some money - they're both going to be on the team.

Sounds a little optimistic but he will score a bunch of goals and if we get a repeat of last season he could turn into a really good deadline trade piece.

Seems like Philly is having trouble finding somewhere to send him that he would approve, so they've pivoted to trying to convince him to be a Flyer (https://twitter.com/FlyersNation/status/1673356787746054148). That's going to be a tall task given their direction. And if Philly - you would think they are more open to retaining more money to maximize a return - can't find a taker, what makes you think the Blues can?
