People were worrying, would Toronto pick the Best Player Available or the Best Defenseman Available? Lucky for us we got the best player available and he happened to be a right handed defenseman. The only downside is that we're going to have to wait a while, he'll probably play in Sweden next year, then Marlies the year after than MAYBE he'll join the Leafs.
True, I don't expect him to make his debut this year because Nielsen and the other Marlies who should get a shop. Expect him to play maybe 6 to 10 games next season, then the season after he should be ready.
