I prefer lybushkin to de melo easily and see no need for more picks we have more prospects than we can sign and swapping levi for comrie leaves the team with subban (maybe) to call up for injury 🤦‍♂️. Well you know what they say "why try and fix your pk and face offs when you can try a rookie goaltender".

Well, I don't agree about demelo vs Lyubushkin.

Comrie is in ahl with subban

Maybe having a goalie who can make a save will help the PK

Everyone getting a year older will be the biggest team improvement, Quinn, peterka, power, krebs

A lot of faith and hope involved in "everyone being a year older". It would be nice to see improvements added to the team. De Melo i can accept as a very minor improvement (disagree but thats just opinion) but i would like to see the team actually improve with players that are as ready to contribute as Thompson, Tuck, skinner, and dahlin. Instead of fingers crossed 6 guys take another step.
Also i see no reason to start with levi. There are 0 scenarios where it is necessary and 0 issues with starting him in rochester as a #1. If all else fails sure bring him in but it seems silly and desperate to assume he's the greatest goalie ever after 9 ok games instead of allowing him to develope. Seems it was only last year he "wasn't ready to leave college yet and we respect his desire to develop his game at every level" but now we wanna rush him to waiver elgibility and possibly destroy his confidence we 20 games in we discover the team hasnt gotten better defensively and dallas puts in 10 on him.[/quote]

Except for the one comrie got the shut-out in. And hopefully one of those year older things they learn is the playoffs are on the line all season.
