Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

If Matthews and Nylander get anything close to these contracts then the Leafs are stuck. After signing the potential signings of Samsonov, Schenn and Accairi (or anyone that would still take up that same cap space) then signing Lilly and Robertson to contracts that eat up 7mil, the team is left with 5mil. If the cap goes up 5mil then we may have 10mil. But that is IF it goes up. Management must see this coming. So they either have to get Matthews at 13-14 and Willy at 9 but even then, the following year one has to go. I think Nylander is gone by July 1st unless Tavares decides to wave his NMC. If he isn’t gone and we have no prospects in 1 year from now then we are FUBAR’d.

Of course but they aren't. They'd be ****ed if they gave kerfoot 9m and kampf 8m too.

It’s just inevitable that Marner or Nylander is traded in the next year.

Not at all. But I would like to see marner moved if he demands too much again,

Willy will come in around 9m and Matthews around 12m.

With Dubois getting 8.5 then Nylander will demand 10-11. Matthews 14-15.
