Patchy back in MTL, is it crazy?
Suzy would be the best center he ever had in MTL and CC would take coverage off him to shoot. Yeah he had a rocky end in a Habs jersey but Julien and Bergy are gone. Win win IMO. Patchy gets to showcase his worth and hopefully prove he can stay healthy for a contender and MTL gets a veteran left handed scorer to fill that need on the top line with a chance to flip him for assets at the TDL if all works out. Also I always liked Patchy and I believe a lot of fans would love to see him back in a Habs jersey even if just for 50 or 60 games.

As for the guys in the LTIR, I see their time in MTL at an end.
-Eddy has some value but not as high as some make out because of his injury history, 3rd rounder at most is fair IMO
-Dvorak I believe still has some value but I’m not even going to try and guess what that is
-Hoffman I hope a team will take a flyer on him for “future considerations” if Hugo is willing to retain half his salary
-Armia, let’s face it has negative value. He’s either a buyout or the Habs give something of value just to move the guy out.

Sure maybe it was lazy of me to just put those 4 guys on the LTIR but any trades I propose would just get ripped apart on here and I honestly just did this to see what the roster would look like without them. Lastly I am not oblivious to the fact that Hugo wouldn’t just sit on all that cap space.
