You have Rasmussen and Perron on the fourth line. Perron had 7 fewer goals than Konecny. Konecny was hurt a bit but still, being healthy is part of it. Rasmussen should be in the top 6, he deserves those minutes. Fabbri and Murray will be healthy. Rangers match that offer sheet, which are a great way to ruin relationships. But why even bother if you aren't playing Laf in the top 6?

I love Ras but if the team is gonna be good he is a 3rd liner. or he takes another step forward. Konecny was on a worse team and Perron is gonna be another year older, I love the guy but there is no denying he is a step behind the game at 5 on 5. Great on the powerplay though. Perron would move up to the 3rd when Kailer gets hurt. There is alos a chance johny burgers doesn't stick on the second so the lines could be juggled. Yes murray and fabbri start the season healthy but no way they don't end up on the IR.

Bottom line is if the wings are going to make the a run without that top superstar they need to be a deep team, 3 strong lines and a reliable 4th.
