Won't resign in Canada, doesnt mean he wont get traded to a Canadian team

He can't get traded to a Canadian team when all 6 other Canadian teams are on his 8 team no trade list.

I know he said he'd prefer to be in the US but has there been any reports that suggest the leafs are actually on his NTC

I think he goes to Florida in a deal for Duclair+, Calgary wants Duclair and Florida wants Hanifin. All i know is that Hanifin won't waive for any other Canadian team. So one would assume that Toronto is on his no trade list.
