why is Tanev retained worth a first and a prospect? his injury history the past couple of seasons makes him a bit more of a gamble than he once was

I dont think Z is that close to a 1st personally, even with retention. I dont think this proposal is that far off, i wouldnt be opposed to adding another solid prospect but it isnt that far off in terms in value

It wasnt intended as an insult, i think having him with Robertson and Knies would show the two of them how to be great pros and would pump JT up at the same time

Love Knies too i think he and Domi could be good running mates to start the season and then can move around as needed. I really dont want them to trade willy but with the little amount of cap space this move leaves leafs with you never know what they would do. Maybe an injury preseason opens up some space?

In a perfect world they get rid of Murray and reallocate that cap space to a defensive improvement. I see GIO playing less this year maybe like 50 games and i would think Kulikov gets 50-60 games as well. It will be important for the Leafs to keep the D fresh for playoffs

EK65 for 4 years at $5.75M would be incredible, and it gets rid of Murrays contract. It will cost a lot, but you don't get players like Karlsson for cheap

Marner to Ovie would be silly, Marner has lots of value for his offense and is one of the top PK'ers in the league. Players like Marner dont become available.

how is 2 1st round picks, a 3rd round pick, and 2 solid prospects a bag of nothing? Keller doesnt want to play in a college rink, Arizona has no direction and he's going to want out. It will impact his trade value when every team knows he wants to leave.
