Remove Kampf and maybe the Flyers do this....they just signed Poehling to a new deal and don't need 2 4th line centers.

who cares about having two 4C's when Nic Deslauriers is in the lineup. Kampf-Poehling-Hathaway would be a pleasure to watch

+ getting Liljegren and a first, team almost gets better because of this trade

Yes let's keep adding 4th line players that have 3+ years left on their deal and block upcoming players. I like the deal overall, but we are rebuilding and need to not have all of our 3rd and 4th line players on multi year deals. Regardless Kampf has a partial no move so who knows if he would even waive it.

Solid depth pick ups. Would give them a fighting chance going into playoffs. 👍 good prop

Kampf has a 10 team no move list so hard to know if Philly would be on there or not, but PHI window probably isnt until Michkov timeline so 3 years might not be a big deal for them if they get a solid RHD in liljgren and a 1st rounder

I've felt the same this year about Brodie but hoping he regains his reliable defensive game as the year goes on. Been through a lot this year personally i believe. In a perfect world however i would be supportive of a Brodie + trade that would net the leafs a long term reliable partner for Reilly. If Weegar was somehow available he would be very high on my list but we will see how things shake out

Michkov will likely be over sooner than 3 years. Regardless, Kampf doesn't fit. We have Laughton, Cates, Deslauriers, Hathaway and Poehling all on multi year deals and only play on the bottom 6. We also have youngsters like Forester, Brink and Lycksell that routinely play on the 3rd line. So where does Kampf fit? That's not even taking into consideration any other younger players that deserve a shot. Last point, why would the Leafs trade a player they just signed to a 4 year deal?
