Once again as repeated earlier. I never said Weegar is a top #1, I said that his style of play can really help. He came to Calgary with Huberdeau, and a 1st for Tkachuk. In terms of that the deal is good. But if read, I also said highly unrealistic because Weegar is signed to decent term. He is also one of only two defenceman actually signed next year for Calgary. So Calgary has zero need and probably very little willingness in trading Weegar. As a result, Calgary asks for way more and Toronto then has to decline because you don't want to overpay for a defenceman.
